- renamed it .exe
- run it by wine (winecfg says WIN10) installing into ~/.wine/drive_c/Program File
- could not run SRIM-SEtup/SRMI-AutoSetup even after
- renamed dl_, oc_, ex_ into dll, ocx, exe
- installed wintricks (sudo apt install wintricks)
- wintricks vb6run
- could finally work this way
- cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program File
- ln -s SRIM-Setup/RichTx32.ocx [once and for all]
- znsipped msflxgrd.ocx into ~/.wine/drive_c/Program File from here [once and for all]
- wine SRIM.exe / TRIM Calculations
SRIM exe short instructions for Al
- ION section,
- select H A=1 Mass = 0.13355 uma (muon) Energy 4100 keV Angle
- Target section
- Left Al 0.07 units cm
- Right P1 Al (determines correct density on the right)
- Special Parameters
- Correct title, Autosave & Total ions 1000
- Output
- Disk files Ion Ranges
- Save input and run TRIM
- select FIle Plot Ion Distribution
- restart by File Restart Calculation
