The operation is performed after the best fit, by class mufitplot.

The input optional parameter is plot_rangeMHz=start,stop,LB

  • individual best fit components (mg, bl, ...) can be subtracted from the asymmetry to obtain the Fourier components of the (partial) residuals {$A(t)-A_{\mathrm{th}}(t)$}
  • iperGaussian apodization of the residuals before FFT can be fine tuned by the choice of LB {$\sigma$} in
    {$\left(A(t)-A_{\mathrm{th}}(t)\right)\exp(-\sigma^4 t^4)$}
  • the FFT is auto-rephased by acme autops (in library mujpy.aux.aux)
  • the result is plotted as real part, imaginary part and absolute value vs frequency, over a preselected interval
  • for multirun, multigroup asymmetries the Fourier spectra are presented in animation
